The Forge Lottery

As a Public Charter School, Forge International uses a lottery process for enrollment for available seats. In instances where the number of applicants exceeds the number of openings, students are placed on a waitlist by grade level.

Our 2023-24 lottery will be held on March 9th, 2023
and the lottery application is now closed. However, you can still apply for enrollment here and we expect there to be openings in multiple grade levels once we have offered enrollment to our lottery applicants.

Idaho's Charter School Lottery Process:  The Idaho Legislature established the lottery process for charter school admission through Idaho Code Statute 33-5206. As a brief overview, all applicants are placed into grade-level-specific 'Lottery Priority Groups' as follows and are drawn in order based on these groupings:

First Priority: Children of full-time Forge employees, and children of Forge Founders (provided that this admission preference shall be limited to not more than 10% of the initial capacity of Forge International School).

Second Priority
: Siblings of students already selected by the lottery

Third Priority
: Students enrolled the previous school year at Rolling Hills Public Charter School or Future Public School.

Fourth Priority
: Applicants that reside within the Forge Boundaries*.

Fifth Priority: Applicants that reside outside the Forge Boundaries*.

*You can find the Forge boundaries and search for your address HERE.

Non-Discrimination
:  Sage International School of Boise does not discriminate on the basis on race, color, religion, and national or ethnic origin in its educational and admissions policies and affords to all students the rights, privileges, programs and activities made available at the school.
